Self-Hating Malay

Selepas "Apa lagi Cina Mahu" oleh Utusan, kita tunggu pula Azran buat catatan FB seperti berikut pula:-
"I am Malaysian. I am anti-racism. I am disgusted by Utusan's Sin Chew's editorial stance. (Saya rakyat Malaysia. Saya anti-perkauman. Saya meluat dengan pendirian pengarang Utusan Sin Chew)."

Kartun di bawah yang disiarkan oleh akhbar Sin Chew minggu lepas...

Any chinese want to read what A MALAYSIAN wrote about you?

I picked this up from JEBAT MUST DIE. Read the full article here...

Dong Jiao Zong: So, What Is The Problem?

By Jolina Tan

After much noise and ‘foot thumping’ by the Dong Jiao Zong over the appointment of non-Mandarin educated teachers in Chinese vernacular schools, it is reported that the 17 teachers involved were only directed to teach Bahasa Malaysia, which is why Mandarin background is not deemed essential.

A friend of mine asked, so what’s the noise and foot-thumping all about?  Demonstration of power?

It’s the upcoming election, isn’t it?  All the political parties must be made aware of the power of Dong Zong and that whichever party is ready to kow-tow to this organization, would be ‘blessed’ with its support.

Just because the Dong Zong fights for the Chinese, doesn’t mean it represents 100% of us.   I am among the few Chinese who is uncomfortable with this unhealthy but upward trend of ‘power-testing’ by our people, championed by Dong Jiao Zong.

We all know that it is important to not lose our roots but aren’t we the ones asking the nation to be Malaysian First, and race second?   Naturally, as Malaysian, we must put our Bahasa Kebangsaan first and Mandarin second.    But it never seem that way to me and no wonder the Malays are going berserk towards us.

I am one of the many Malaysian Chinese who can’t speak Mandarin and I’m not proud of it.  I wish I could, as it is an advantage to know many languages.

But I don’t feel guilty for not being able to speak Mandarin because I believe in being Malaysian First and Chinese Second.

When I go overseas, I hate it when people get confuse of whether I am from Malaysia or China because most of us Malaysian Chinese do not have anything to show that can relate us to Malaysia, except that it is written as so, in our passport.   If there is anything that can relate us to our country, it is only our broken Bahasa Malaysia.  And yet, we scream if we didn’t get treated as loyal Malaysians.

Whereas, the Thailand or Indonesian Chinese are easy to be recognized when overseas for they usually speak their national language.   They also strongly considered the traditional dress and culture of the original Thais or Indonesians as theirs too.  For this, the original Thais and Indonesians have no prejudice towards them and accept them as their own.

In fact, in all parts of the world, the immigrants would quickly adopt and practice the original language and culture of the country, in order to blend in and be accepted.  Like it or not, only in Malaysia that such cases of ‘alien-citizen’ is common.   And I’m pointing out to you that it is as much our fault, as everybody else’s.

I respect Dong Zong for its determination to keep the spirit of our ancestors’ and motherland alive and strong.    But I strongly feels that Dong Zong, as an education NGO should help promote unity instead of extremism.

We want the Malays to be Malaysian first and Malay second but are we doing the same?   What does it mean to be Malaysian?  What is Malaysia, anyway?

I don’t know what the Dong Zong have in mind about Malaysia, but I don’t want to teach my children to lie to themselves about their roots.  I want them to accept the fact that even though our ancestors were from China, China is no longer our country.

Our country is Malaysia.  Our national language is Bahasa Malaysia, our culture is of a very strong influence of the Malay culture because Malay is the original settlers of this land.  Our traditional dress is the baju kebangsaan and all Chinese or Indians just have to accept it or should not claim to be Malaysians.   However, as non-Malays, we have the right to uphold our race’s traditional dress too, in respect of our roots.

I bring this matter up because I don’t see any solution to the never-ending prejudice among all the races in Malaysia.   Everybody is backing up their own races’ arguments but none would admit their wrongs.

We have always complained of being discriminated in terms of education, properties, government projects and all but have we ever tried to look at it from the eyes of others?

With Dong Zong constantly fighting for separation of our race from others, how can we expect the Malays to not have any prejudice and suspicions towards us?  How can we expect them to feel secure enough to abolish the policy that discriminate us when we, ourselves, are still aliens to them?

I believe that only when we truly blend in, that the privilege and special rights of the Bumis can be truly abolished.   Let’s not be hypocrites and selfish.  Let’s truly fight for unity, for a 1Bangsa Malaysia, for our own sake.

Instead of demanding, provoking and threatening, may be Dong Zong should start offering, giving and co-operating in sharing ideas and working towards bringing the races together.   Prove that the Chinese too, can truly be Malaysian First and Chinese Second.

UPDATE : Tiada Ribut Taufan Yang Datang Melanda..

Artikel asal : Tiada Ribut Taufan Yang Datang Melanda..

Itulah...

Nampaknya memang "one-way street" sahaja... hormat, understanding, toleransi, acceptance hanya laku kepada sebelah pihak sahaja... 1-Malaysia kita!!

Posting yang saya terbitkan minggu lepas, selepas membaca artikel KEMPEN SSS, "Racism In Broad Day Light", yang in turn memetik posting JUST READ! sebelumnya itu, tidak mengundang sebarang angin. Usahkan ribut taufan, angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa pun tak terasa..

Kata orang Kelantan, "TOK GHETI BASO!!". Ketuanan Cina macamana pulak nak belit nih?

Negara Ini Negara Cinasia

RACISM IN BROAD DAY LIGHT

Artikel asal adalah dari JUST READ!, "SRJK (C) is not for Chinese only!"

Petikan dari artikel tersebut:-
"I wanted to enroll my 7-year old daughter at a Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) in Ampang. I went to see the headmaster but upon seeing that my daughter wore a 'tudung', he asked me to send her to a Sekolah Kebangsaan.

"He said there is no place for a Malay student in a Chinese school, especially those with 'tudung'," he said, anguish and frustrated.

"He also said that Chinese schools are supposed to be for Chinese only."

Penolong Pengarah BTN? Orang PM sendiri sehingga terpaksa letak jawatan?

These are THE WORST KIND !!! Mana dia ikon 1-Malaysia? Tak nak buat video NAH! NAH!! SUCK!!

Nak "accept" apa kalau dah begini?

Dia kata "no place for a Malay student in a Chinese school" dan "Chinese schools are supposed to be for Chinese only".  Jadi kalau orang lain kata "Is there a place for a chinese in MALAYsia? Chinese balik tongsang la! Pendatang!!!", rasanya barulah adilkan?

Supposed to be for Chinese only, seperti kata headmaster itu?

Jadi, kenyataan headmaster cina itu "chinese school for chinese only" itu bersandarkan apa? Adakah ini bumi People's Republic of China untuk dia mengatakan begitu?

Ah Jib Soh ?

Sokong PM - "Moderate" Jangan jadi "Extremis", Biar kita "Gheti Baso"!!

Sokong !!!

Moderate! Jangan Extreme !!!

Hidup kita biarlah hormat menghormati....

Siapa yang menghormati siapa? Siapa yang tidak hormat siapa? Siapa yang "Moderate" ? Siapa pula yang "Extreme"? Siapa yang menghina siapa? Siapa yang berhak? Siapa yang tidak bagi hak? Siapa yang merampas hak?

Hak MALAYsia adalah "SATU BANGSA, SATU NEGARA, SATU BAHASA"? Jom kita MULA menghormati hak MALAYsia dengan "SATU BAHASA" dahulu? Artikel 152 Perlembagaan MALAYsia? Supaya kita jadi, seperti orang Kelantan kata,"GHETI BASO!!!"

Juruwang disuruh pegang daging babi tanpa lapik

Bukan niat kami hendak menghina makanan orang bukan Islam. Jika tersentuh biarpun bekasnya sekali pun, ia perlu disamak.

A Tan Sri in PEMUDAH......

Sampai bila DS Najib akan jadi seorang ketua yang mengikut, "a leader who follows?"

Excerpts from:

MALAY RACISM:

AN INFORMED NON MALAY PERSPECTIVE

The following is a copy of a letter being circulated by Bersih’s  allies in Pemudah claiming to be a statement of fact originating from Australia. It purports to show the levels of ‘racial prejudice’ inflicted by the Malaysian government on its non Malay citizens.

This circular claims what it states below is factually based on extracts of factual economic data provided by its Dutch Eurasian former Malaysian author now living in  Australia. The document below was sent to a prominent member of Pemudah a Tan Sri who has chosen to circulate this highly inflammatory document to as wide a circulation as is possible in support of the Bersih rally mooted for Sunday 9 July 2011.

The problem with this document as you see below in our responses is that it is flimsy, half baked and based on ‘facts’ so conveniently arranged so as to deny the full force of truth if it were arranged and presented in a more scientific form as economic data is expected to be arranged for analysis.

The qualifications of the writer are not known and neither are we interested. The provenance of the document although not established is taken at face value as being that of a document supplied or authored by a Mr. Teddy Diellenberg of Australia. The circulator of the document in Malaysia an economist based in Malaysia and an ardent supporter of the riot that is Bersih 2.0 planned for 9 July 2011.

Our responses to each of the allegations and statements advanced by Mr. Diellenberg and his Malaysian agent Tan Sri are to be found below in red below after each statement of the authors of this bit of race hate mail .

THE CIRCULAR COMPLETE WITH OUR COMMENTARY **
List of racial discrimination ( Malaysia ):

(** AWAS - AMAT DIRINGKASKAN - sila baca artikel GRK untuk lebih pemahaman)

(1) Of the five major banks, only one is multi-racial, the rest are controlled by Malays
Till recently these entities were owned almost exclusively by Chinese without a public tender being called for them.
(Banks? betui ka? and why banks only?)

(2) 99% of Petronas directors are Malays.
100% of the Arab oil companies have Arabic directors. So too are directors of Pertamina in Indonesia post Suharto Pri Bumis, the same with the major oil companies in the US Caucasians and elsewhere such as in boards of ONGC India Indians.
(Perhaps, in Malaysia, the Malays are more Malaysians than the chinese?)

(3) 3% of Petronas employees are Chinese.
the author of this circular suggesting that the low ratio of Chinese employee in Petronas is because the vast majority of Chinese who applied for jobs (if they did in large numbers ) were actually qualified as the best candidates for the job but rejected solely on the basis of their race of being Chinese or is it because they did not qualify at all which is also a possibility.  Unless of course one subscribes to the myth that the Chinese qualify for everything they desire and a rejection is racist.
(Maybe Petronas in Beijing can hire more chinese than Malaysians in their foreign branch office)

(4) 99% of 2000 Petronas gasoline stations are owned by Malays.
Good. Hock Ban Seong (BP) and other agents of foreign oil companies who the British and other foreigners favoured previously made sure that succession in these businesses were based on race. The Chinese race. That included Shell, BP, Mobil Caltex and Esso. It is called strategic planning and survival of the fittest. At present it is the Malays who are fittest. Any problem with that?
( Oh well ..one Petronas against Shell, BP, Mobil, Caltex, Esso....)

(5) 100% all contractors working under Petronas projects must be of Bumis status.
Good. The same applies in Tongsan (China or Chung Kuo and in Singapore with some exceptions)...
(wonder who are the REAL benefiting contractors in the presence of Bumi status requirement... not only Petronas projects, but....*still counting*)

(6) 0% of non-Malay staff are legally required in Malay companies. But there must be 30% Malay staffs in Chinese companies.
That’s a reversal of the old Chinese and Indian practice in Malaysia of excluding Malays unless one needed a driver or peon or amah.
They the Chinese are a little more subtle here in the application of their racism . It takes the form of the following qualification as; “Mandarin or other Chinese dialect” an essential pre requisite (so as to exclude non Chinese) ...
(30% Malay staffs? Malays don't speak chinese, but Bahasa. 30%??? or less than 3%?? i.e. near 0%?)

(7) 5% of all new intake for government police, nurses, army, are non-Malays.
Perhaps they do not wish to waste their lives as Tan Sri did during his years in public service. It does not say that 95% non Malays were excluded. All it says is that 5% of all new intake are non -Malays. Again what is the point being made here?
(sure the chinese in Malaysia like these "non-888" jobs ka?)

(8) 2% is the present Chinese staff in Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), a drop from 40% in 1960.
In 1960 non Malays aspired to be highly paid airline pilots on leaving the force if not then to secure a comfortable living by remaining within the air force. The Tengku allowed them to enter at a time the economy suffered from a paler complexion than it does today. Today the Chinese typically have or aspire to hold 2 passports. They (large numbers of them) will not stay to defend Malaysia or to take up arms against an invader as is apparent in their politics and history. They will run as they did from China in times of crisis or war. Aspiring pilots can now train outside of the air force without the constraints applied to pilots in the air force.
(the 2%, the Lims, the Chuas etc are actually Malaysians, mistaken for chinese?)

(9) 2% is the percentage of non-Malay government servants in Putrajaya, but Malays make up 98%.
better understanding and command of Bahasa which is a fundamental requirement to holding jobs in the government public service, it is not unusual or abnormal for such large numbers of Malays to be represented in the sector he complains of.
(maybe only 2% of them fulfilled the criteria of being Malaysians i.e. fluent in Bahasa Kebangsaan, the rest 98%, their tongues are still Tongsan?)

(10) 7% is the percentage of Chinese government servants in the entire government (in 2004); a drop from 30% in 1960.
Is he expecting the Sri Lankan Jaffna Tamils to dominate the public service again as they did with their clanish caste system during the time of the Tengku?
(History says, back then the British feared the Malays... so they imported the chinese to be everywhere in the administration and economy to assist them ploughing the country's wealth. They made sure the son of the soils stayed in their kampungs minding their soil with padi planting etc)

(11) 95% of government contracts are given to Malays.
Good. And we all hope it remains that way. In Australia 90% of all government and mining licenses are given to Caucasians.
(Yaaa...95%..the contracts...but 95% of the contracts juice, $$$, actually went to...???)

(12) 100% all business licensees are controlled by Malay government, e..g. Taxi permits, Approved permits, etc.
If 100% of business licensees (sic) are controlled by government, then it is nothing to complain about as it is what happens in most countries.
(What about the business itself? How much is the license worth compared to the business worth?)

(13) 80% of the Chinese rice millers in Kedah had to be sold to Malay controlled Bernas in 1980s. Otherwise, life is made difficult for Chinese rice millers.
What does this chap think created misery for the Malay rice planters all these years for decades? the Middle Man!! The Chinese exploiter...
(the Malay padi planters said...whooooshhh!! *wiping their foreheads* finally our padi is worth more to Bernas than the chinese exploiters..)

(14) 100 big companies set up, owned and managed by Chinese Malaysians were taken over by government, and later managed by Malays since 1970s, e.g. UTC, UMBC, MISC, Southern Bank etc.
Name the others and I will provide the reasons and histories as to how they became big in the first place. MISC and UMBC, UTC and Southern Bank were all the result of non public tendering of very public licenses. Public Bank, Tan Sri Khoo Tek Phuat’s Malayan Banking and others.
Cinatocrasy: The Battle of Affirmative Action against the Bamboo Network and Resource Mobility in a Globalised Economy (http://satdthinks.blogspot.com/2011/05/cinatocrasy-battle-of-affirmative.html)

(15) At least 10 Chinese owned bus companies (throughout Malaysia in the past 40 years) had to be sold to MARA or other Malay transport companies due to rejection by Malay authorities to Chinese applications for bus routes and rejection for their applications for new buses.
Public transport is not a private resource.
In Australia and in the US today too there is a nascent movement emerging that has at its core objectives identifying south east Asian Chinese owned assets for the same reasons that they now seek to identify tax cheats and non compliant directors of public companies elsewhere. Suspicion of buying their way in without public scrutiny.
 RE : Cinatocrasy: (http://satdthinks.blogspot.com/2011/05/cinatocrasy-battle-of-affirmative.html)

(16) Two Chinese taxi drivers were barred from driving in Johor Larkin bus station. There are about 30 taxi drivers and three were Chinese in Oct. 2004. Spoiling taxi club properties was the reason given.

Perhaps that’s not such a bad thing considering the not so subtle exclusion of Malays and others from the most prolific and profitable sector food, entertainment and beverages. It is a non tariff barrier because pork served, alcohol served and gaming in these sectors create a natural barrier to Muslims and Hindus to some extent to find employment there.
(they dont do no wrong..sounds familiar?)
(17) 0 non-Malays are allowed to get shop lots in the new Muar bus station (Nov.. 2004).
Good. The times they are a changing.
(just put the sign "We allow non-chinese too!", then serve pork, speak chinese, write chinese, breath chinese... just forget all the tolerances and ADAB)

(18) 8000 billion ringgit is the total amount the government channeled to Malay pockets through ASB, ASN, MARA, privatization of government agencies, Tabung Haji etc, through NEP over a 34 years period.
How much of it went to the Chinese and marginalized Indians under the Tengku?
How much more of this money eventually was siphoned by Chinese and Indian businesses as oil palm contractors (Tabung Haji’s investments) forestry (totally Chinese controlled environmental vandalism), transport and infrastructure development, shipping retail and wholesale businesses?
(in 400m run, do we sprint from the same line in each lorong? thereby the innermost lorong run less than 400m and the outermost lorong run more than 400m? fair ka?)

(19) 48 Chinese primary schools closed down from 1968 – 2000.
Is this Malaysia we speak of or is it a Chinese man’s dream of hegemony.
(errr..you balik Tongsan la to want chinese schools..this is Malaysia? there is China? SAME QUESTION GOES TO PM NAJIB!!!)

(20) 144 Indian primary schools closed down from 1968 – 2000.
Pity they did not close all of them.
(PM Najib...where is INDIA?? is it here?)

(21) 2637 Malay primary schools built from 1968 – 2000.
Thousands more Chinese schools built in China and tens of thousands of Hindi vernacular schools built in India. So what’s the point?
(Malay primary schools? Or were they Sekolah Kebangsaan? Do they read & write in JAWI in that schools?)

(22) 2.5% is government budget for Chinese primary schools. Indian schools got only 1%, Malay schools got 96.5%.
Again Tamil as distinct from Indians. Speak for your own backward community and their self inflicted wounds of ignorance and economic depravation
(excuse me..Sekolah Kebangsaan? not Malay schools? Since when the law of Malaysia must budget for chinese and tamil schools? Only PM Najib is unduly gracious in this. Ask from the Chinese and Indian governments la!)

(23) While a Chinese parent with RM1000 salary (monthly) cannot get school textbook loan, a Malay parent with RM2000 salary is eligible.
It is called relativity and retributive justice.
(A Malay parent working in the city and 1,000 Malay parents in the kampungs, they both send their kids to schools? Now let's see how many chinese parents earning what, living where when they send their kids to schools, chinese schools? )

(24) All 10 public university vice chancellors are Malays.
How many highly educated Indians or Chinese actually covet or qualify for such a job today?
And how many IPTS are there? with Malay VCs? - "The More Deserving Is Getting Less!! (CLICK)"

(25) 5% of the government universities’ lecturers are of non-Malay origins. This percentage has been reduced from about 70% in 1965 to only 5% in 2004.
I think the point has been made over and over again ad nauseum. Are you suggesting the Malays are selected on race only? That is of itself a racist statement.

(26) Only 5% has been given to non-Malays for government scholarships in over 40 years.
How many were given to Malays when Sri Lankan Tamils and other Indians controlled the public service in the 1960′s with the Chinese and other non Malays?
Again RE: "The More Deserving Is Getting Less!! (CLICK)"

(27) 0 Chinese or Indians were sent to Japan and Korea under the ‘Look East Policy.
Perhaps it is because they preferred to keep looking west.
how many non-Malays (especially chinese) benefited from the government's twinnng programme with the universities abroad without having to live there during the course of the study? Not only they can save 'foreign academic fees' but foreign living expenses too when they enrolled in hundreds of IPTS in this country.  (Again RE: "The More Deserving Is Getting Less!! (CLICK)")

(28) 128 STPM Chinese top students could not get into the course to which they aspired, i.e. Medicine (in 2004).
An aspiration alone is insufficient to get anywhere these days. As far as I know it has always been the case.
(why only aspired to enter Malaysian college, not aspire to be Malaysians? Speak Bahasa for a start! A distinction in Bahasa Melayu does not guarantee one as to have true Malaysian spirit. A Spanish, or Australian, Turkish can score the same if they studied Bahasa Melayu, but their spirit is still Spanish, Australian and Turkish)

(29) 10% quotas are in place for non-Bumi students for MARA science schools beginning in 2003, but only 7% are filled. Before that it was 100% Malays.
Why not do a balanced and a proper comparative statistical analysis Tan Sri of the situation to include the period when the Malays were denied the same privileges at a time when the Indians and Chinese controlled the system?
(aaahhh!!! we dont expect a foreigner to honestly understand the history of this country, do we?)

(30) 50 cases in which Chinese and Indian Malaysians are beaten up in the National Service program in 2003.
When they go to war they don’t get a kiss and cuddle from the enemy if caught. ... is this the Ambiga Sreenivasan method you prefer to adopt Tan Sri?
(but wait! PM Najib's government is changing that. They served Beryani Gam to the very people who wanted to bring down the government while letting the average KL traders cried, suffering hundred millions of ringgit business lost)

(31) 25% of the Malaysian population was Chinese in 2004, a drop from 45% in 1957.
The look east policy (above) the two passport mentality I alluded to above or have they discovered the pill and contraception which is anathema to Islam which is why the Malays are growing in numbers??? Scary isn’t it?
Good! Probably now they can grasp the meaning of "Di mana bumi dipijak, di situ langit dijunjung"?

(32) 7% of the Malaysian population is Indian (2004), a drop from 12% in1957.
Look west perhaps or the two passport preference or even contraception?
RE (31) above. Hmm..Why dont this document combined (31) & (32) together? Waaah! so many "racism" pointers we have here, do we?

(33) 2 million Chinese Malaysians have emigrated in the past 40 years.
Goodbye and all the best. That’s not a sin or a bad reflection on a society that gives its citizens choice and the means to qualify to enter societies where greater privileges and opportunities await them. Or is it really the case?
Good Lord! Thank you SO..SO. MUCH for leaving!

(34) 0.5 million Indian Malaysians have emigrated overseas.
Malaysia is a free country.
(huh! again? not combining the same subject?)

(35) 3 millions Indonesians have migrated to Malaysia and become Malaysian citizens with Bumis status.
Its called spreading the good new and sharing your blessings with your kin. A bit like the Kongsi sytem the Chinese practice and the practice in Singapore of replacing its migrating citizens with Chinese from Hong Kong and China.
(Singapore was Singapura, part of Malaysia, and was Temasek? Where have all the Malaysians and Temasekians gone to since then?)

(36) 600,000 Chinese and Indian Malaysians with red IC were rejected repeatedly when applying for citizenship in the past 40 years. Perhaps 60% of them had already passed away due to old age. This shows racism, based on how easily Indonesians got their citizenships compared with the Chinese and Indians.
The Tengku without consulting the Malays allowed over 1,000,000 citizenships to be given to non Malays during his tenure as PM of Malaysia.
Idi Amin had the right idea with the Indians as did Sukarno with the Chinese and General Rambuka with Indians in Fiji. Perhaps Malaysia should do what all its neighbours did to their non indigenous populations.
Force them to take local names, prohibit the public use or teaching of vernacular languages as Chinese under the pain of punishment and stifle their cultural growth so that they are fully assimilated into the local culture?
(PM Najib 1-Malaysia...please also listen to the above!)

(37) 5% – 15% discount for a Malay to buy a house, regardless whether the Malay is rich or poor.
Most countries in the west are trying desperately to emulate if not perfect this model.
(what is the point of even 50% discount for a Malay when the house costs RM2 million? Who ended up owning such house eventually, majoriticaly speaking? Again, who are the developers? You will again accuse the government of racism should the government steps in as developer to build RM150K houses, wont you?)

(38) 2% is what new Chinese villages get, compared with 98% – what Malay villages got for rural development budget.
Why should there be Chinese villages. This is not China.
(I rest my case!)

(41) 0 temples/churches were built for each housing estate. But every housing estate got at least one mosque/surau built.
In a Muslim country they the Christians have had churches and continue to have them.
(What are the total numbers of mosques, suraus, churches and temples nation wide to compare in the first place?)

(42) 3000 mosques/surau were built in all housing estates throughout Malaysia since 1970. No temples or churches are required to be built in housing estates.
Good we have had enough of paedophiles even in Christian countries and Brahmins who control temples deserve to be deprived of their ‘god given right’ to pursue the bullying and robbing and enslaving of ‘lower caste’ Hindus which is where all of the problems of Tamils in Malaysia can be traced back to. Let’s begin with exposing Datuk Ambiga the Brahmin shall we?
(All built by government? or by the kariah of each housing estates?)

(43) 1 Catholic church in Shah Alam took 20 years to apply to have a building constructed. But they were told by Malay authority that it must look like a factory and not like a church. As of 2004 the application still have not been approved. But it got built in the end?
How many mosques are allowed in France where nearly 12 % of the population are Muslim. How many in Germany or England where a large numbers of converts to Islam have been recorded? How many in the land of the “brave and free” the USA? they have not too insignificant numbers of Muslims there in places like Michigan, New York, California, Texas, Pensylvania and Ohio. If you believe in democracy then you must adhere to the will of the majority.

(Malay authority? again and again? can we hear what actually NOT being said over and over in this MALAY RACISM claim?  It's all about MALAY,no matter what, huh?)

(44) 1 publishing of Bible in Iban language banned (in 2002).
And the publishing of the Vedic scriptures that promote casteism? The Ibans do not constitute a majority in the country. The Christians are not a majority either. I thought this complaint was about unfairness and inequity and undemocratic practices?
Refer to Al Kitab 1-Malaysia Solution which had been labelled "Bodoh (http://kennvoices.blogspot.com/2011/04/bodoh.html)" and agreed by PM Najib.

(45) 0 of the government TV stations (RTM1, RTM2, TV3) are directors of non-Malay origin.
There was a time when they were all or mainly non Malays. You did not complain then. Which shower did you come down in?
(Pendatang! Pendatang! Pendatang!  What? Don't you yourself tempt other to shout that?)

(46) 30 government produced TV dramas and films always showed that the bad guys had Chinese faces, and the good guys had Malay faces. You can check it out since 1970s. Recent years, this has become less of a tendency. So too in the west.
Then why not raise a complaint there in the west where TV originated from? There they depicit white women as being cheap falling in love and getting into bed with every Tom Dick and Harry for the price of a glass ow Whiskey or worse still a false compliment.
(ha! ha! ha! so low huh? At least there were chinese faces in the dramas. How many chinese content in TV1, TV2, TV3, TV8, TV9, Astro? let alone a malay face in these content aired in Malaysia!)

(47) 10 times, at least, Malays (especially Umno) had threatened to massacre the Chinese Malaysians using May 13, since 1969.
Those were only mere threats. The Chinese communists massacred Indians and Malays and Chinese in large numbers for over two decades. That is fact. Not threats alone. They were led by a man Ambiga and the Malaysian Bar want returned to Malaysia. His name is Chin Peng. The group he led was the MCP. Tit for Tat, butter for fat, you kill my rat I kill your cat.
(errrr...who started the May 13 back in 1969? Gerakan and DAP when they tasted glory? Parading the streets with Mao Tze Tung banners? - correction! it wasn't chinese Malaysians but chinese communists!)

(48) 20 constituencies won by DAP would not get funds from the government to develop. These Chinese majority constituencies would be the last to be developed.
Are you suggesting these “victims of Malay racism” voted the DAP because they were Chinese?
(I am stumped !!! jaw hanging)

(49) 100 constituencies (parliaments and states) had been racially re-delineated so Chinese votes were diluted for Chinese candidates. This is one of the main reasons why DAP candidates have consistently lost in elections since the 1970s. (update to 2008 needed).
Better than using the gun which the Chinese did with Chin Peng or having no vote at all which is what you Ambiga and your cohorts demand. It is called gerrymandering and is practiced in many countries like Singapore, the USA and Australia. Have you proof of the intention of government in this regard? but why would Chinese want to vote for Chinese? are they not complaining of this horrible practice of divisions of “Malaysians” along ethnic and race lines today?
(Two words! BALIK - TONGSAN!)

(50) Only 3 out of 12 human rights items are ratified by the Malaysian government since 1960.
What “Items” are these you refer to?

(51) 0 – elimination of all forms of racial discrimination (UN Human Rights) has not been ratified by Malaysian government since 1960s.
So what?
Who is a Malaysian (http://kennvoices.blogspot.com/2011/02/orang-malaysia-errr-siapa-mereka-itu.html) when we try to discuss racial discrimination?

(52) 20 reported cases whereby Malay ambulance attendances treated Chinese patients inhumanely, and Malay government hospital staffs purposely delayed attending to Chinese patients in 2003. Unreported cases may be 200.
Be specific. Was the man choking on a piece of pork?
(Malay..Malay..Malay.. poor chinese! ad-nauseum!)

(54) 20 cases every year whereby Chinese drivers who accidentally knocked down Malays were seriously assaulted or killed by Malays.
Why would they knock the Malays down in the first place, because they are Malays?

are you a paid stooge or simply a volunteer of a stooge like Ambiga is? Can’t the Chinese speak for themselves or have they something to hide?
(si cina ini is getting someone's nerve to be NOT ACCIDENTALLY knocked down in the end)

(55) 12% is what ASB/ASN got per annum while banks fixed deposits are only about 3.5% per annum.
It is even less in some other parts of the world. Show me your economic credentials with your friend the other economist and explain to me why bank deposits should attract higher rates of interest in Malaysia (if that’s what you are complaining of?
(why mentioned just ASN/ASB - try typing ASM at least, if not few other more? which fund fully subscribed within hours after opening?)

There are hundreds more examples of racial discrimination in Malaysiato add to this list of ‘colossal’ racism. It is hoped that the victims of racism will write in to help expose this situation.
We are doing our bit here thanks to you, Bersih, Pemudah and Tan Sri.

The Malaysian government should publish statistics showing how much Malays had benefited from the ‘special rights’ of Malays and at the same time release the statistics which show how minority races are being discriminated against.
Agree. But I do not think they will be rushing to prepare statics in this respect when you already have done a commendable job reinforced by its circulation by a prominent economist in Malaysia.
(the so-called "special rights" of Malays (son of soils to be more accurate) have always been there eversince the rulings Sultans and Rajas of ancient times. The British came here to re-inforced and caused it to be inscribed in The Constitutions to protect the son of soils from the ruthless and greedy species who happened to be stuck here)

Hence, the responsibility lies in the Malaysia government itself to publish unadulterated statistics of racial discrimination.  If the Malaysia government hides the statistics above, then there must be some evil doings, immoral doings, shameful doings and sinful doings, like the Nazis, going on with the non-Malays of Malaysia .
How could they possibly have hidden the “statistics” above when someone like you Sherlock has so cleverly dug them out for the world to see? In addition you have “My Dear Watson” Tan Sri an economist in tow. How could you go wrong. Way to go I say.
Again let us understand Who is a Malaysian first (http://kennvoices.blogspot.com/2011/02/orang-malaysia-errr-siapa-mereka-itu.html) Let's us discuss racial discrimination of chinese in China and Malaysians (NOT Malay) in Malaysia, shall we?

Civilized nations, unlike the evil Nazis, must publish statistics to show its treatment of its minority races. This is what Malaysia must publish. We are asking for the publication of the statistics showing how ‘implementation of special rights of Malays’ had inflicted colossal racial discrimination onto non-Malays.
Well lets write to the government of Julia Gillard about the treatment of Aboriginals, of Muslim women being dishonoured for wearing their veils and to Obama for the compensation of American Indians and African Americans the subject of the Tuskugee experiment shall we?
(We bid you farewell and best of lucks to a more civilised nation of your appetite. WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE??!!)

It is a hidden form of apartheid. (and being hidden you so cleverly discovered it. Well well well…I beg to differ and say it is an open form of affirmative action aided and abetted by the Chinese, Indians and the British at independence)

THERE IS A SAYING ABOUT THE USE OF FIGURES FROM SOMEONE NOT AN ECONOMIST BUT A COMEDIAN INSTEAD. GROUCHO MARX  ONCE SAID:

“FIGURES DON’T LIE. BUT LIARS SURE CAN FIGURE”

PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT. YOU ARE EITHER BORED OR A LOW ACHIEVER WHO HAS A HUGE OPINION OF HIMSELF THAT YOU HAVE TO BE A BAGGAGE BOY OF PEOPLE WHO ARE TOO YELLOW LIVERED TO STAND UP AND SPEAK WHERE IT MATTERS.
SHAME TAN SRI SHAME. RETURN YOUR TAN SRI DECORATION TO THE KING IF YOU THINK SO LITTLE OF THE MALAYS AND THEIR SYSTEM OF WHICH THE KING IS GUARDIAN UNDER MALAYSIA’S CONSTITUTION.

GO SERVE THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND INSTEAD.

COMPARISONS WITH THE NAZIS IN THIS MATTER IS NOT JUST UNFAIR TO THE MALAYS AND ANYONE ELSE WHO BY LARGE NUMBERS DO NOT SUPPORT YOURS AND DIELLENBERG’S TIRADES AGAINST THE MALAYS.  IT IS ALSO IRONICALLY IN MANY RESPECTS UNFAIR TO DIELLENBERG HIMSELF WHOSE ANCESTRY IS PART DUTCH. THE DUTCH AS HISTORY RECORDS, WERE COLLABORATORS WITH THE NAZIS, A EUROPEAN PHENOMENON SUPPORTED BY INDIANS LIKE SHUBASH CHANDRA BOSE AND THE KUOMINTANG CHINESE.
IT IS ALSO PERTINENT TO REMEMBER THAT IT WAS THE DUTCH WHO CREATED APARTHEID WHICH IS A BASTARDISED DUTCH WORD WHICH THEY CONVENIENTLY CALLED AFRIKAANS.IT MEANS APART OR SEPARATE DEVELOPMENT PRONOUNCED “APART HATE”. MR DIELLENBERG OUGHT TO KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT APARTHEID SEING AS HIS ANCESTORS CREATED IT.

WITH MUCH LOVE AND AFFECTION TO TAN SRI AND MR. DIELLENBERG,

SINCERELY

Who Are the Chauvinists of the Highest Order ?

Again and again I was lauded as a good and true Malaysian....  But when I.............
"...decided to speak on behalf of the Malays, explaining what hurt them most, what they consider sensitive in an open letter to YB Lim Guan Eng and the DAP; showing them a way to the hearts of the Malays…

… suddenly I am chauvinist.

Is it not ironic? While the first 5 letters in Malaysia reads M.A.L.A.Y. some among us forget that the Malays are Malaysian too."

CLICK HERE when Anas, TO THEM, is not a chauvinist but a true Malaysian....

Sharing : Battle of The Sexes 5

How guys select the girl
A man is dating three women and wants to decide which to marry.

He decides to give them a test. He gives each woman a present of $5,000 and watches to see what they do with the money.
The first does a total makeover. She goes to a fancy beauty salon, gets her hair done, purchases new make-up and buys several new outfits, and dresses up very nicely for the man.
She tells him that she has done this to be more attractive for him because she loves him so much.
The man is impressed.
The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts.

She gets him a new set of STRONG golf clubs, some new gizmos for his computer, and some expensive clothes. As she presents these gifts, she tells him that she has spent all the money on him because she loves him so much.

Again, the man is impressed.
The third invests the money in the stock market.
She earns several times the $5,000. She gives him back his $5000 and reinvests the remainder in a joint account.
She tells him that she wants to save for their future because she loves him so much.

Obviously, the man was impressed.
The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money.
Guess which lady he chose to marry?

Think like a man . . .

He married the most beautiful one!!!!!!
Men are Men.... Obviously!!!  :)

A Simple but Truthful Account of the 13th May

I'd like to republish what TAM DALYELL has published in his blog. "Apa 13 Mei Tu Tokki?"

No history manipulation can beat a simple truthful account of the 13th May when a Tokki tells his grandchild of his yester years experiences.

One may understand why someone goes to a great length trying to 'silenced' the history. Perhaps because the history itself tells a lot about his 'struggles' or even a lot about himself. The 'struggles', what is it all about?

It is a little bit harder to understand when another one agrees to this 'silencing'. Just like he threw a cold blanket once, over the call of many for SATU SEKOLAH UNTUK SEMUA, not too long ago. Or maybe this too is quite okay to him?

Was it the snatcher babi? Or was it really the Melayu babi? I have come across many chinese who look perfectly like a Malay, physical wise. If you go to kampongs, especially in the East and North, you will find plenty of these and I bet that you cant tell the difference on the first look. How come Jun is so sure that the snatcher was a Malay? Could he be an Indon or could he be that 'cina kampong'? Can you tell how much hatred contained in this paragraph below? This is what she wrote:- (boldfaces by me)
"Clement continue searching for that Fucking Shit Melayu Babi but he has gone. I felt dirty! I felt like chopping off my hands! My hands felt like it wasn't mine anymore. "
She is so damn sure it was a Malay. Why? Again my question, "Was it the snatcher babi? Or was it the Melayu babi, really?"

Apa 13Mei tu Tokki.
Kaum Cina merusuhi kaum Melayu.

Bagaimana dia bermula?
Cina DAP menghina orang Melayu Kampung Bharu.

Apa mereka buat.
Mereka bergendang, bersorak dan mencarut naik lori keliling Kg Bharu dan KL.

Apa mereka pekikkan?
"Melayu! Sakai! Balik kampong. Balik hutan"

Lagi?
"Silangok kita olang punya sikalang. Lu Malai ... (dalam bahasa Melayu bermaksud beruk) kita kasi sapu balik hutan." Mereka bawa penyapu besar. Gendang naga dan bendera DAP.

Lagi? Apa mereka buat.
Mereka buka zip.
Dua hari. 11 dan 12 Mei 1969.

Kemudian?
Esoknya orang Melayu Kg Baru berkumpul di luar rumah-rumah mereka di tepi-tepi jalan.

Kemudian?
Sebelah petangnya, ada kerata Moris Minor dari Chow Kit lalu Kg Baru. Penumpang kereta itu pekik sepanjang jalan, "Melayu balik hutan. Kita berkuasa sekarang. Melayu cibai balik kampong."

Pas tu?
Di hujung Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz tu, dihadapan Pam Petrol Petronas sekarang, kereka itu dibakar orang.

Mana Tokki tahu ini semua.
Masa tu Tokki duduk bujang menyewa di 41 Jalan Hamzah, Kg Bharu.

The news in the Mingguan Malaysia 21 November, 2010 also caught my attention:-

So, in another word, "Don't blame me or KDN, but blame others like SKMM or Peguam Negara since they also don't take any action".. Is that it Mr KDN Minister?

Yeah.. probably the YPD Agung wishes to sack the PM on your account, concerning the Hal Ehwal Dalam Negeri.
