How "Con"-tr-Actors work !..
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken front door at the PWTC Kuala Lumpur. One "Bumiputra" contractor from Kelantan, another from Penang ("Malaysian-Malaysia" type) and the third, from Selangor ("1-Malaysia" type).
They all go to PWTC office to examine the door.

The Kelantan "Bumiputra" contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil.
"Well", he says, "I figure the job will run about RM900. (RM400 for materials, RM400 for my team and RM100 profit for me)".

The Penang "Malaysian Malaysia" contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says,
"I can do this job for RM700. (RM300 for materials, RM300 for my team and RM100 profit for me)".

The Selangor "1-Malaysia" contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the PWTC official and whispers,
"RM2,700."

The official, outraged says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?"
The Selangor "1-Malaysia" contractor whispers back,
"RM1000 for me, RM1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Penang to fix the door."
